The Horses - Dyna, Cat & Gal
Dyna is a warmblood, Cat is a Quarter-horse, and Gal is a Thoroughbred. Dyna has been part of the herd for over 10 years, but Cat and Gal are the newest members of our expanding family.
Gal was actually a racehorse before we found her. She ran three times, and came in third place her second run. She was rehabilitated after an injury, and now she lives a happy life with us. Now she can take it slow.
Horses can live as long as 40 years, even longer in rare cases. Dyna is 27, Cat is 17, and Gal is 8 (though she’s the biggest and the head of the herd).
Their full names are Dynameis, Catalina, and Galadriel, but we just call them Dyna, Cat, and Gal.
The Pigs - Ume and Este
These cute little piggies are called Kune Kunes. They’re a breed native to New Zealand.
Kunes are known for many things, including their signature “waddles,” their hairiness, and for being among the friendliest of pig breeds. They love cuddles :)
We rescued these two ladies in May of 2022, not long after which, they would have been sent to the slaughterhouse. They’ve been happily living with us on the farm ever since!
Uma and Este are a year, and they’re half sisters!

The Goats - Horns, Bear, and Amy
Nigerian Dwarf goats and Pigmy goats are among the smallest breeds of goat in the world. Horns is a Pigmy and Bear and Amy are Nigerian Dwarfs!
Inspired by the joy and excitement that comes from doing yoga with goats, it was a no-brainer to include them as part of our ranch retreat.
After the painful passing of Horns’ sister Poppy, we got Bear and Amy to keep Horns company, and they’ve been thick as thieves from the start.
Horns is 14years old, Bear is 5, and Amy is 3. They are all rescues!

The Dogs - Mel & Bridget
They may look intimidating, but you should only be worried if you’re a coyote. These gorgeous girls are Anatolian Shepards, and they make excellent livestock guardian dogs.
When you arrive on the farm, you will be enthusiastically greeted by Mel, who will run right up to you, tail wagging like crazy. Bridget is a little more shy, but she’s a sweetheart through and through.
These dogs love to work. If there are coyotes off in the distance, these dogs will make sure they stay there.
Mel is 4 years old, and Bridget is 6. Despite their appearance, they are not blood related, but they’ve grown to love each other like sisters.
